No, the rates you see are our standard rates. We believe in transparent pricing without introductory or teaser rates that increase after a set period.

Are there any hidden costs?

Absolutely not. There are no hidden costs. For example, if you choose the $65.00 plan, your bill will be $65.00. Additional fees only apply for specific cases, such as static IP addresses or wireless mesh units for larger homes.

How are bills issued? Can I pay by check through USPS?

Bills are sent monthly via email. You can pay by mail, online, over the phone, or via the drop box at Sterling Municipal Light Department, 50 Main St. Payments can also be made in person during business hours.

Can I upgrade my service level without additional fees?

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your service without additional fees, except for physical relocation of the fiber optic cable. Simply call us, and we’ll make the changes within 24 hours. Your account will be prorated automatically.

What is the installation process like?

A site survey will be conducted first to determine the best path for fiber to your location. Once outside fiber installation is complete, our technicians will handle indoor work, setting up your router, connecting Wi-Fi, and logging you into our app.

Why are site surveys and installations scheduled separately?

Each installation presents unique challenges. Our team coordinates the fiber route, equipment setup, and connection to ensure the process is efficient and smooth.

What kind of wiring is needed in my home or business?

Sterling LAMB will install a small fiber optic cable connected to an optical network terminal. This device uses Ethernet cables to link with customer equipment. An unswitched power outlet is required for proper operation.

Do you offer specific appointment times?

Yes, we offer scheduled appointments instead of time windows. This ensures we respect your time and arrive at the agreed time.
